Book Club – Storybook Creators

Calling all storytellers and artists, it’s time to create your very own book! In this exciting Book Club session, students from kindergarten through 4th grade will work together or independently to write and illustrate amazing stories that we’ll publish on a free website for our whole class to read and share endlessly. We’ll kick things off with a quick mini lesson on the three most important parts every great story needs, then dive into the creative fun of bringing your imagination to life. Older students will learn how to use the site with step-by-step guidance from Miss Janera, while younger students will receive full support every step of the way to make sure everyone becomes a successful author. Don’t forget to bring paper and art supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) to sketch your story ideas before we create our masterpieces online. Your book is waiting to be written!
